NEW ABLE MUSE PRESS AUTHORS

From last summer's open reading period, Able Muse Press has recently accepted two additional manuscripts for publication. This is in additional to James Pollock whose manuscript was [2] accepted and announced much earlier in the process. Congratulations to Ben Berman for his poetry manuscript Close to Closure, and congratulations to Hollis Seamon for her short story collection, Corporeality.

Hollis Seamon is the author of two books, Body Work: Stories (Spring Harbor Press 2000) and Flesh: A Suzanne LaFleshe Mystery (Avocet Press 2005).  Her stories have appeared in many journals, including Bellevue Literary Review, Chicago Review, Calyx, Fiction International, Nebraska Review, and Greensboro Review.  She is a recipient of a fiction fellowship grant from the New York Foundation for the Arts.  Seamon teaches at the College of Saint Rose in Albany NY and in the MFA in Creative Writing Program of Fairfield University, Fairfield CT.

Ben Berman grew up in Maine, served in the Peace Corps in Zimbabwe and currently lives in the Boston area with his wife and daughter.  He has received the Erika Mumford Prize from the New England Poetry Club and Artist Fellowships from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and Somerville Arts Council.  Close to Closure is his first full-length collection.
